The two arsonists managed to lock themselves in with their own fire
Two arsonists in Groningen, that almost fell victim to their own crime, are being sought by police in the city. On 9 February, two arsonists set a fire in a bicycle shed on Antillenstraat, reports the GIC.
The arsonists planned to set a scooter on fire in the bicycle shed, and accordingly slipped into the garage after someone else left it. Then they set the scooter on fire and then tried to leave the garage. However, the entrance door had automatically closed behind them.
An accomplice then had to help the men; with one of the arsonists managed to escape through a small gap. The other had to climb over the fence to escape.
Police are continuing to search for the men.
