Another four people were admitted over the weekend
The number of patients admitted to hospitals in Groningen due to the Coronavirus increased slightly over the past weekend, reports the Acute Care Network Northern Netherlands, via OOGTV.
In Groningen, the number of admissions to Coronavirus nursing wards increased by four in the past weekend (now 43 overall). Compared to seven days ago, though, the numbers have decreased.
The number of admissions to Intensive Care units rose slightly ( by 1). A week ago, 25 people were admitted to ICs in Groningen.
In the three northern provinces, 126 patients are in Coronavirus wards and 56 in ICU wards. A week ago, there were 62 people in northern ICs and 134 patients in nursing wards.
In the Northern Netherlands, 14 patients from outside the region were admitted to nursing wards and 17 to ICs on Monday morning.
