Not as happy as me and my mullet
Hairdressers in Groningen are overjoyed about a possible reopening of their business from 2 March. “I didn’t know what to expect, but I had hoped for this,” says Jolanda Sekuur, owner of De Hoofdzaak hair salon in Oude Ebbingestraat, reports the GIC.
“It does indeed seem that the hairdressers will be allowed to open again from 2 March, and if that is indeed the case, that message makes me very happy!”, says Sekuur.
“I really didn’t know what to expect, but I really hoped for this. The phone is already starting to run red hot, and people want to schedule appointments. Week number 1 is almost fully booked ”.
The cabinet is likely to impose strict conditions on the reopening of hairdressers, but on the other hand, hairdressers already have a lot of experience with planning appointments.
“If it all turns out to be true, then that is great news. But that does not mean all that we’re in the clear, because you do not know how the virus will continue and what the future will bring. But the re-start is nearly here!”, says Sekuur.
