With night clubs, events, and more now open for those with a negative test, there had been bottlenecks and delays at the existing test centres
A new ‘testen voor toegang’ centre will open opposite the P+R Meerstad on the east side of the city of Groningen. Construction has already started and the intention is that the location will open its doors at the end of July, reports the GIC.
In order to access a whole range of larger-scale events (from nightclubs to large concerts), people must have a valid negative Coronavirus test in the official app, available from one of the scheme’s test centres.
The test location will be built in the meadow opposite the Meerstad P+R, Bureau Meerstad reports.
The City of Groningen currently only has one test centre for this scheme: on the Bornholmstraat. There is also a test location in Eelderwolde, south of the city.
