The Netherlands will be hosting the European Indoor Football Championship from January 19 to February 6, 2022 and Groningen is one of the hosts.
The UEFA Executive Committee announced that The Netherlands would hold the tournament on Tuesday. Five other countries, including France and Portugal, had also applied. The matches are to be played at the MartiniPlaza in Groningen, and the Ziggodome in Amsterdam.
The most important matches and the final are to played in Amsterdam, whilst the MartiniPlaza has been awarded twelve games.
