The Navigators seem to have got lost following regulations
Thirteen members of the Groningen student association The Navigators have tested positive for the Coronavirus. All association activities have been halted, following the association announcing the news last night. As reported by the GIC.
The Navigators Student Association Groningen (N.S.G.) is in close contact with the GGD, who have begun contact tracing.
According to a press release, The Navigators are taking the situation very seriously (perhaps unsurprisingly) and are closely following advice from the GGD Groningen. “We are also in close contact with the Groningen Safety Region, the University of Groningen and the Hanze University of Applied Sciences. The members of N.S.G. are actively kept informed of the current situation by the board. This communication is also in consultation with the GGD Groningen ”, says The Navigators, who indicate that the priority now lies with the health of the members and their environment.
Navigators is a Christian student association with approximately 400 to 500 members, known for its raucous drinking. The Association’s HQ is on the Hardewikerstraat in the centre of Groningen, in a monumental building that was previously a brewery, and one of Groningen’s premier homosexual clubs.
