Hyzon’s factory in Winschoten will produce 1,500 hydrogen trucks for the New Zealand market
After the announcement of a new medical isotope company coming to Groningen (SHINE), the hydrogen-powered truck company Hyzon has announced that it will be recruiting for 300 new positions in the near future. The company is a collaboration between Hoogezand-based Holthausen Clean Technology, and the US truck company Hyzon.
Hyzon’s factory in Groningen has received an order of 1,500 hydrogen trucks for use in New Zealand, which will overhaul a large amount of the country’s haulage fleet and hugely reduce emissions. As reported by the Groninger Ondernemers Courant.
All new vacancies will be posted on a special website.
Meanwhile, as we reported on Wednesday, another 200 jobs will need to be filled at a new medical isotope manufacturing plant owned by US-based company SHINE. Construction of the new factory will start in Veendam in 2023, and should open by 2025.
