Tens of millions of people use the app developed by Chordify, a music technology company in the city of Groningen

It’s one of the top-performing tech companies in the North, and Chordify has now gone worldwide. The company has developed an app that can convert music into chords for free, so that everyone can play along to their favorite song.
Last year, in 2020, more than 9.5 million songs were chorded, more than 120 million jam sessions played, 73.7 million visitors used the Chordify app, reports GIC.
“It turns out that users have played their favorite songs on Chordify 120 million times. Think about it, that’s a sold-out FC Barcelona football stadium, but 1200 more times.”
