As part of the IWCN’s ongoing online information presentation series, the GGD Groningen will be presenting on the Dutch Coronavirus vaccine rollout on Thursday, May 27. Sign-up is available here!
The GGD (Gemeentelijke Gezondheidsdienst) is the local public health organisation for Groningen. It is part of a national network of GGD’s, who have been working with the Dutch public health body the RIVM and the Dutch healthcare system to roll out various vaccines to protect Dutch residents against the Coronavirus.
With lots of older people now having been invited for (at least) their first shot, the GGD’s around the country will begin vaccinating people aged 20-40 from June.
Even more online presentations!
The IWCN has been hard at work, linking up with partners to provide a wide range of information presentations in the coming month. On 3 June, the IWCN, Zorgverzekeringslijn and Studentarts will be presenting on “Dutch health insurance and the Dutch GP: how do they work?”
On June 10, Expat Mortgages will present on ‘Buying a House in the Netherlands’, and there will be a tax information presentation (with The TaxSavers), on June 24.
