The city wants people to film themselves litter picking in the city, and send the videos in

The Gemeente Leeuwarden has come up with a way to get people out helping clean up their city, with a prize to be given out. The city is asking people to film themselves collecting rubbish, and to send the film in for consideration, with the prize to be given out in late June. As reported by the Omrop Fryslân.
On June 21, the Gemeente will hold a digital conference on litter, with a number of speakers and discussions. The “big litter prize” will be given out as part of this event, and video entries are expected to demonstrate how people are helping keep their surroundings litter-free, why they pick litter, and whether they have been working by themselves, or in a group.
A jury will narrow down all of the entries to a five-film shortlist, and the prize will be given to one film maker. Entries can be sent to schoon@leeuwarden.nl, until June 1.
