A 0.6 magnitude quake in Ruischerbrug hit this morning
A small earthquake occurred early this morning in Ruischerbrug near Beijum, Groningen. Though a light quake, this was the 29th so far this year, almost all of which have been caused by gas extraction.
The quake had a magnitude of 0.6 on the Richter scale and occurred at a depth of 3.0 kilometers, the website, and was the third earthquake in two days. Yesterday morning, 09:14 there was also an earthquake at Hellum, with a magnitude of 1.9.
And at half past eight yesterday morning there was a 0.6 quake near Garsthuizen, reports the GIC.
