GrensInfoPunt Eems Dollard Regio (GIP EDR) is an organization that organizes free monthly consultation hours for cross-border commuters between Germany and the Netherlands. These consultation hours will take place in four different locations: Bad Nieuweschans (NL), Emmen (NL), Groningen (NL) and Papenburg (D).
During monthly consultation hours, cross-border commuters and students, employers, employees and pensioners can ask questions related to taxes, pensions and social insurance in The Netherlands and Germany. A professional GIP EDR adviser along with advisers from the Bureau of German Affairs (SVB) are present to answer these questions.
The next consultation hour will take place at the office of the UWV in Emmen (NL), Verlengde Spoorstraat 2 on the 1st of March between 13:00 and 17:00 PM . Consultations are by appointment only, so interested parties that would like to attend the consultation hour in Emmen (NL) must call the Eems Dollard Regio (EDR) beforehand.
