Positive test numbers rise as testing becomes more widespread
There are currently 23 people with complications from Coronavirus infection in Groningen’s intensive care units at the moment. That is four less than last Wednesday, RTV Noord reports.
This is evident from the latest figures from the Regional Consultation Acute Care (ROAZ NN). The number of patients in nursing wards increased by nine to 43 people, the first increase in more than a week
Meanwhile, the GGD in Friesland says that one more person had been admitted to hospital in the province, with no more deaths but six new confirmations of positive tests, and seven positive tests in care homes.
In Drenthe, RTV Noord reports that there were no more positive tests up until today, and across the province only nine people are currently in hospital.
The most up-to-date figures can be accessed via the RIVM.
