Some positive Coronavirus news
For the first time in weeks, there has been a decrease in the number of admissions of Coronavirus patients in hospitals in Groningen. 68 people were admitted to hospital in the last week; the lowest number since mid-December. The number of Intensive Care admissions has also fallen, reports OOGTV.
A total of 95 Coronavirus patients have now been admitted to a hospital in Groningen, 27 of which are in an ICU.
In the Northern Netherlands as a whole, 234 corona patients were admitted on Friday morning. Seventy patients have been admitted to an ICU. This number of admissions remained almost the same as last week (230). The number of admissions to Intensive Care units remained unchanged (70).
The number of patients admitted from outside the region increased significantly in the past week, from 58 to 76 patients.
