Qbuzz will be running extra busses during Eurosonic Noorderslag to transport festival goers, including free rides for people with a Eurosonic wrist band.
The Groninger Internet Courant reports that on Friday the 18th, between 4:30 p.m. and 3 a.m., a shuttle bus will be running between the Gedempte Zuiderdiep and the Suikerunie grounds, where a mini festival and the artist village are located. Passengers with an entrance ticket or a Eurosonic wrist band ride free.
The sixth edition of the Bus Sessions will also be kicking off on Friday at the Groningen Central Station. The concert series will feature free performances by Groningen musicians between 2:15 and 3 p.m., but the music does not stop there: the bands will board various Qbuzz lines after the station shows and busk on board the busses (for free).
On Saturday, there will be extra busses running between the Park and Ride in Hoogkerk and the Grote Markt, which is the location of a number of venues and a stone’s throw from many other stages in the city centre. Music lovers with the wristband can also ride for free on this line.
