Connect International would like to invite you to join Easy Dutch Cafe, an event with a unique concept that is going to take place twice a month: once in the morning and once in the evening. Every meeting will be built around a certain topic (new every time), that internationals are struggling with or would like to know more about.
Participants will be provided with the general information on the topic (practical tips, know-about of related Dutch customs, culture and communication, etc.) and a hand-out with related vocabulary and phrases. We will answer your questions and practice all together during the meeting to go out and try to apply new knowledge afterwards.
The topic of the first meeting is: Grocery shopping and food-related rituals in the Netherlands.
Summary: where do Dutch people buy their groceris; supermarkets, specialty shops, markets; how to find foreign ingredients; do the Dutch live to eat or eat to live?
