The robot waiters even have their own uniforms

A restaurant in the Netherlands has decided to make use of robots as waiters. The Royal Palace in Renesse (Zeeland) introduced the new robots per the social distancing regulations advised amid the pandemic. The unique robotic waiters were introduced to reduce human-to-human contact and, yes, to stop the spread of the virus. Via nu.nl
The robots, each dressed in a red-and-white uniform, welcome guests to the restaurant with a cheerful “Hello, you are welcome”, giving a novel and fun vibe to the atmosphere. The robots do not just greet customers, either, they also serve food, pick up used dishes from tables, and bid farewell to diners at the Royal Palace. What excellent customer service!
Restaurants in the Netherlands are starting to run operations slowly again, but there are limits to the number of guests allowed in restaurants. The owner of the Royal Palace, Leah Hu, claims that the robots help with the daily operations at the restaurant and the robots are efficient at what they do.
