The solar park will have over 300,000 panels, and is the largest in the Netherlands
King Willem-Alexander will come to Nieuw-Buinen in Drenthe on Friday afternoon, May 21, to officially open the Hollandia solar park. The solar park has 300,000 solar panels, and has been in use since the beginning of this year. Its output totals 120 megawatts, reports RTV Drenthe.
The king’s previous visit to Drenthe was last year, when he visited the Hunebedcentrum and cultural centre VanSlag in Borger to learn about the consequences that the Coronavirus has had on the arts, culture and leisure sector.
