Fans of Dunkin’ Donuts will be pleased to know that the chain is finally launching its first Groningen branch.
The popular brand has revealed that the doors to the new eatery will open at 8am on Friday, October 14.
The company, which has stores in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Leiden and other locations in the Netherlands, has moved into a former T-Mobile retail outlet on Herestraat 19, next door to The Body Shop.
Job listings listed on several recruitment websites show that the hiring process is in full swing, with the store looking to hire a manager and a barista. Applications are open until the positions are filled.
The store manager job application reads: “You will manage approximately 20 employees, of which one is possibly an assistant manager.” There is no salary indication in the listing. The ad states: “Your main goal is to achieve optimal employee and guest satisfaction and a positive turnover.”
Dunkin’ Donuts – originally called Open Kettle – was founded 74 years ago in Massachusetts in the US. It sells coffee, sandwiches and doughnuts, or ‘donuts’, along with donut hole treats, known as munchkins. Other bakery goods include cinnamon rolls and croissants.
