The hogeschool will mount an International recruitment campaign in September
Translated by Thomas Ansell
NHL Stenden hogeschool, which has experienced strong growth in student numbers even despite the Coronavirus pandemic, is looking for more staff. This follows a huge recruitment drive that has resulted in 123 hires, all of whom will start in September. Though this huge new cohort will go some way towards filling the vacancies required by the university, still more staff are needed, reports the Omrop Fryslân.
The hogeschool’s HR team have been hard at work, sifting through the reported 1,700 applications that were sent in for the various roles available. More teaching staff are still required, though, and plenty of the new recruits have come from outside of the higher education sector.
“The applicants ranged from colleagues that already work at the university, through to professionals that will be giving their first ever lectures in September”, says Sanne Martens, the HR team leader for NHL Stenden.
After the summer holidays, the university will resume its hunt for new staff, including with an international advertising campaign.
