40 people have now died in Friesland as well
Between Wednesday and Thursday, another patient suffering from the Coronavirus died, meaning that the death toll now is ten. The number of infections rose by two to 295. The number of hospital admissions of Groningen patients is still at 65. In Friesland, three people have died in the last 24 hours, and 18 new people have been confirmed, reports the Omrop Fryslân. The GGD in Drenthe shows a general leveling of cases there.
The number of hospital admissions in Groningen has been stable for three days in a row, reports GIC.nl.
Figures from the Regional Consultation on Acute Care (ROAZ) show that the number of patients in hospitals in Groningen has increased slightly. For example, the number of patients in specially-designated Coronavirus wards increased from 73 to 77. The number of Intensive Care patients decreased from 56 to 55. You could therefore conclude from the figures that the increase in hospital admissions concerns patients from other regions.
Across the country, the number of infections increased by 1,061 to 29,214. The number of hospital admissions rose by 182 to 9,309. The death toll rose by 181 to 3,315.
