Much of the country, including the northern provinces of Groningen, Drenthe and Friesland, may see thunderstorms and heavy rains on Sunday.
RTV Drenthe reports that the Dutch National Weather Service KNMI is forecasting severe weather on Sunday afternoon and evening. The weather warning applies to the eastern and northern provinces.
KNMI says that the weather could bring strong wind gusts and hail to some areas. The weather front will also bring temperatures down.
RTV Drenthe’s weatherman Arend Zanting says that as of Monday, the weather should be more stable and warmer.
