Riding a bike, whilst claiming treasures from others, there is no more Dutch way to spend the day

The city of Groningen will be dominated by Treasure Hunt on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 June. The treasure hunt, with puzzles and hints, was a great success last year: more than 200 teams took part over three weekends. As reported by the GIC.

Teams of two people will have to cycle to several different locations in the city of Groningen to collect hints, and then solve the puzzles to reach the ‘extraction point’. The first three teams to arrive at that point will be whisked away by a secret means of transport to the final battle location.

The hunt can only be completed by bicycle. Each team may consist of a maximum of two adults and costs €12.50 per person. More information and sign-up is available here.
