A gloomy video shows the Drents capital completely deserted
The Netherlands is feeling fairly flat due to the current Coronavirus outbreak, with people sitting at home as much as possible, and almost empty streets. An Assen resident has created a video showing how the city somewhat empty looking, reports the Asser Courant.
It is also quiet in Assen. Often very quiet. Everyone is anxiously looking forward to Tuesday when Prime Minister Mark Rutte is likely to announce how the relaxation of measures in a “1.5 meter society” will take shape. What does this mean for schools, business, public transport? How can they respond to the “new normal”?
But for now it is still quiet. And Loraine Kaan moved in on behalf of Kijkaan Assen to capture that silence on video.
