Robben will appear at the Global Youth Action event on January 22
FC Groningen footballer (and former Champions League winner) Arjen Robben is to take part in the International Climate Adaptation Week Groningen, reports the Hanzehogeschool. The Climate Adaptation week is taking place from Tuesday 19 January to Monday 25 January. Robben has made a film underscoring his thoughts on climate, and will also participate in the ‘Global Youth Action event’ on Friday 22 January from 14:15 to 15:15.
More than a million young people from 115 countries have been asked to contribute to a worldwide call to action and this has been bundled in an action agenda: the ‘Global Youth Call to Action’. During the ‘Youth for Climate Adaptation Conference’ on Friday, January 22, young people from all over the world will come together (online) in Groningen to underline this action and to discuss how the agenda can be translated into actual action.
The programme on January 22 is free and can be followed online via ClimateAdaptationGroningen.nl (klimaatadaptatiegroningen.nl/en)
