On the night of March 5th, Leeuwarden police were called to Tweebaksmarkt, in the center of the Frisian capital, because of a house fire. The fire was quickly extinguished, but in the apartment above a tattoo parlor officers found a 21-year-old woman dead and two men, a 25-year-old with serious injuries and a 30-year who was superficially hurt.
All wounds were compatible with stabbing with a sharp object.
On Sunday morning, German police arrested a 27-year old from Leek as a suspect of the stabbing. He was found in Leer, a small town just across the Dutch border, reports Dagblad van het Noorden. The Dutch police will take the suspect into custody and proceed with his interrogation soon.
