Regional broadcaster RTV Drenthe reported on Tuesday morning that the Drenthe safety region says the air craft made an emergency landing due to smoke in the cockpit. The medium-sized aircraft, which appears to be a D-CAMS jet, had room for 55 passengers, but there were reportedly only four people on board at the time of the incident.
Dagblad van het Noorden reports that the plane, which was apparently intended for medical flights, was en route from Zagreb in Croatia to Stockholm in Sweden.
