The Dutch State Supervision of Mines is advising economic minister Eric Wiebes that immediate action needs to be taken to fix around 5,000 damaged, unsafe properties.
The Groninger Internet Courant writes that the state agency’s findings are part of a larger agency advisory report that will be released next week.
The state supervision of mines agency says that while the decreased gas extraction levels are minimising the risk of additional induced earthquakes, the pace of repairs and reinforcement for damaged properties is not keeping pace.
