NHL Stenden as a whole has twenty top courses

The ‘Keuzegids’ (Course Guides) for 2021 show that the NHL Stenden Emmen campus has 7 top-rated degree courses. Across the whole of NHL Stenden (which has campuses in Leeuwarden, Emmen, Assen; and Terschelling), twenty courses have been awarded a star for their quality- one more than last year. As reported by the Emmer Courant.
For three years in a row, NHL Stenden has been placed third in the ‘Top Large Hogeschool’ category. Courses such as ‘Biological and Medical Lab Research’, Chemistry, Finance and Control; Primary Education, and International Business have been given a ‘top-course’ rating, whilst the Hotel Management course has also been rated highly. The ‘Keuzegids’ is the number-one rating system used by perspective students (and their parents) in the Netherlands.
The guide is compiled using a mixture of student satisfaction surveys and other statistical methods, by the Centrum Hoger Onderwijs Informatie Leiden.
