The Prince Bernhard Cultural Fund in Drenthe is allocating 127,000 euros to 51 cultural and nature conservation projects in Drenthe.
According to RTV Drenthe, the projects are initiatives being carried out by foundations and associations of amateur artists and volunteers.
Six of the biggest projects are” Volksopera Assen (10,000 euros), a documentary called “Streekgenoten” (“Countrymen”) (7,500 euros), Folly Art Norg (5,000), research on oystercatchers, a species of bird, in Assen (2,500), a play titled “De Zaak L.” (“The L. Case”) (1,500 euros) and “Aan de andere kant” (“On the Other Side”) (1,500 euros).
The Prince Bernhard Cultural Fund in Drenthe will hold new funding rounds on 29 June, 28 September and 14 December. Applications for funding can be submitted up to six weeks prior to the deadlines on the Cultural Fund’s website.
